Why do they have to make it so complicated!

Goodness me why do they have to make it so complicated!

Just spent a wonderful afternoon adding shipping costs to the website for my overseas buyers, which was a bit of a nightmare, but got there in the end.

Tried to keep it as simple as possible so that all my buyers will get there parcels in a timely manner, but the couriers have to make it so difficult with what they don't do and what they won't take, when all I want to do is give a good service to all our overseas friends!

Sorry my rant is over!

Here are some pics of the garden and some beautiful butterflies we had today, to cheer us up!

Welcome to The Country Dormouse blog!

Will hope to keep this blog up to date so you can see what we have discovered on a various vintage treasure hunts, so keep us bookmarked!

The website has been tidied up, but still more tweaking to do, but we managed to get out and about and found some wonderful vintage pieces to add to the site.

We love the country cottage and shabby chic style and have recently started to get some ideas together about making some of my own things for my home and also to try my hand at painting some furniture!

I will post the before and after pictures as I go, so no laughing please!

We also selling in our online shop www.thecountrydormouse.co.uk beautiful vintage floral china, kitchenalia, and country cottage pieces, especially finding pieces if you like to have vintage tea partys and picnics, and love the warmth, comfort and beauty of a home surrounded by cottage flowers, vintage pieces and the homely feel of shabby chic so we hope to bring a little of what I love into your home to.

We are based in the beautiful county of West Sussex on the South Coast of England, and love hunting around many different venues such as fairs, vintage shops and sales, and being born into a country with so much history, beauty and character to fall back on, we are constantly spoilt for choice!

So tempting to keep it but that what we want to keep makes a wonderful purchase for our customers, if we find it difficult to part with then our customers will love them too!
